has any one been to a police impound car auction here in orange county?

has any actually came out of police impound car auction and purchased a car for only 500-600 dollars? or know anyone that has? if so can u give me some input on it like how it works and what they do(from experience) :-) only for orange county please and thank u

yes! my friend got her car at an auction for $900, but i dont remember what kind it is. i know shes had it for awhile and never had any troubles. i got my car at an auction too, bc the economy’s so bad right now, theres a lot of really nice cars that got repossessed and are going for cheap.

    Presumably you are referring to OC, Calif (not NY). Anyway, buying at an auction is not a good idea – there is no way to know the mechanical condition of the vehicle, so it may drive fine for many years, or break down a block from the auction yard…..that’s one reason they are cheap :]
