Online auction
What are the requirements in setting up the online auction?
What are its advantages and disadvantages?
You will need an eBay account, which is free at ebay.com
Then you will want a PayPal account, which is a way to pay and receive payments online. This is the preferred payment method for almost all eBay users.
If you want to make a business out online auctions, I recommend you check out subscribing to a wholesale service such as OneSource so you can acquire goods at heavy discounts and then sell them on eBay.

Auto auction
I wanted to buy a car and decided that going to auto auction would be the best. Can anyone give me an estamite on how much money I should save to go to an auto auction?
Bring about $200 deposit. You can pay the rest later on in the day.
Cars range from $300-2000 or more. Usually the $300-600 cars have some body damage. I bought a 1993 isuzu rodeo perfect body, interior, and driveteraine for $1400.
I have seen a decent 1990-1993 nissan maxima, altima or 240sx go for $700

Car auction
What sort of documents do i need to bring in order to prove that i am a car trader in a car auction?
You would know if you are a licensed dealer. They don't just allow anyone in to the Dealer auctions.
They have public auctions for people that don't have licenses.

Used cars for sale
I have my own photography business and want to help used car dealers sell their cars either on Ebay or creating a webpage for them as I have experience in web design also.
I would charge a minimum of $250 for your work, plus all fees incured.

Online auction
I am thinking of bidding on art in an online auction for a gallery near me. What are the most important things I need to know about the process? What is the best way to win? I apprecaite any advice you can offer. Thanks!!
Please don't give me nonsense answers like "Bid the highest". I would like answers from people who are familiar with auctions, and not people who are just rumaging though Yahoo answers and giving foolish ansers.
I meant, answers. I type too fast when I am frustrated with YA.
For any online auction it is best to try and count the time down to the second, be there and cast your bid. I have won many auctions by doing this. It keeps from raising the price and you know the amount you are going to pay immediately. However, some sites have this automatic bid, where the progrm bids for you until it has hit the max price you set for it. For those who use those do not set an outrageous price because people like me will raise until the max, there are ways to find out your max.

how much money could you save if you buy a car at a auto auction instead of from like a private seller. ex. a 2004 grand prix for like 10,000$ starting price form a seller, how much do you think you would get it for at a auction?
Depends on alot of factors, like mileage, body condition and overall condition, is it an auction of police seizures, or is it a repo/impound yard auction? Are the general public allowed at the auction, or must you have a wholesaler license? At auction, it might go for 6000-7000.

Used cars for sale
What are some good questions to ask when buying a used car that is for sale by the owner?
What are some good bargaining points so that I could lower the price?
All I know right now is that it is a GMC truck. .that's red. haha.
get a carfax report on it. have a mechanic look at it before you buy it. Try to look for defects mechanically and cosmetically.
look on the interior. ask if the car is a salvage title, meaning that it was totaled, but ifxed up anyway. ask if all the matience was done, and if it was, by a professional, or an ameteur? take a test drive and see if it runs smoothly. ask if there was any body work done to it, even if it was a small detn from a fender bender
if the car has been in an accident, that should lower the price into about almost a half. be sure to invest the 30 dollars and get teh carfax, just to see that he isnt lying. if the matiencing wasnt done.. just leave, because its gonna have lots of problems
but other than that, buying it should be decently simple. good luck!

Online auction
I am looking for auction websites for cellphones that are legitimate and it;s safe to make online payments on them. I don't like Ebay anymore. Ebay is full of shoddy sellers now who ask for hell of money for centuries old phones.
You should use Auction Alfie as you can search all the main auction and classified sites – including ebay.

Auto auction
I want to go to a government seized auto auction to get a car. Since your not allowed to test drive these cars, I definetly will bring along my mechanic to look at the car. What are the most important things for him to check since the car is sold “as is”?
Also, most of these vehicles are newer (2000 or newer) so they’re not very old.
Somebody here said to not buy a car that is clean on the outside because it usually means that it is in bad mechanical condition. Why is that?
If your mechanic is an ASE Certified mechanic familiar with used car inspections he'll know exactly what to look for. If he's not, find one that is.
Auctions are a very risky venture, you need to be extremely cautious since there are so many hidden things that can go wrong with a car. Many of them undetectable, even after a thorough inspection.
The positive thing is you can generally find a real bargain at the auction. But don't expect to buy a car that is free of defects and won't need to be serviced. Assume that anything you buy will need at least one repair as soon as you drive it home.
