Online auction
Is it better to use divs or table to build an online auction website? Please don't say a little bit of both. Thanks!
I would prefer to use tables, instead of layers. The impression on the code and design are more organized and easier to maintain. When the page isn't in maximized mode, you can see the table resize itself to fit into picture.

Auto auction
I am a 19 year old male, never had a car, and I live in the state of Illinois. I am planning on buying a car from an auto auction for around $1,000-$1,400. I was told I need to take a mechanic with me to look at the car overall, the one I'm buying that is. Plus I have done Carfax Vehicle History reports on most of the cars at the auction I am going to, and the car i want only showed 1 report, so I am looking to buy that car it's only $1,000, but i was wondering do I have to pay additional fees or just flat out pay the $1,000 at an auto auction. And what information should I ask for the title? and do they give you the liscence plates for the car? Has anyone ever bought a car from an auto auction for around this price range if so, let me know how it ran, how long it ran, and how much maintenence had to be done to the car? I would appreciate it, and do they actually bid for these cars at this price or do you just look at each car through the parking lot?
I don't know about your laws in Illinois, but I bought one here in Texas and had to pay the tax, title and license separate from the auction buyers fee. The car I bought was a 1967 Pontiac, but it was in 1978 are so. You really have to check out the car carefully to make sure it is in good running condition. Most auctions on automobiles are AS IS with no implied warranties.

Maybe you need a new car.
I found a huge list of Indiana car dealers. I bet someone in your hometown can help assist you. http://www.localnewcar.com/Indiana-New-Cars.html Just phone one of them or drop by one day when you are not busy. Many car dealers can even set up a test drive.

Auto auction
I have a dodge ram 1500 extended cab and am considering selling it at an auto auction. It's not 4 wheel drive so I can't sell it on the street. I have been told the average price I can get for it at auction is $5800, but I'm afraid of it only going for $2000 or some other ridiculous price. Does anyone have experience in this that could give me some advice?
when you carry it to an auction you can set a reserve price when you enter it which will be the least you would sell it for
if it doesn,t meet your reserve price you can keep it
look at the fees they charge for if it sells and if it doesn,t
it could be as much as 25% which to me is too high
it will probably get bid up to kbb wholesale value though
so that will give you a general idea of what it will bring
most auctions around here are dealer auctions
only one is open to the public you can sell it at the dealer auction you just can,t buy unless you are a dealer

Car auction
im looking to buy a new car and i found this website that tells you where the auctions are and everything. Can i really save thousands buying a car from this auction? If you have bought a vehicle from one of these before list it, the retail price, and the price you got it for.
Can you? Yes.
Will you? Most likely not.
Keep in mind, it's an auction. So let's say you see a nice BMW you want, and it's only $500.
It won't sell at $500. People will see it, think they can get it for cheap, and the bidding begins.
By the time you're done, it's close to how much you would have paid through a private seller anyway.

Used cars for sale
Whats a good website to look at used cars for sale?
im looking for a 1983 el camino or a cobalt or something just a wedsite that has a variety of cars
You have to pay to get access to the sites that Avonlee mentioned.
The best sites I've found are www.autotrader.com and Google Base which is at www.google.com/base.
I hate Craig's list because I've encountered two people who have tried to scam me on that web site.
You can also check out Ebay Motors!
